Mid-Century Modern Vintage French Abstract Marker Sketch #4 on Paper, Stamped by French Artist Maurice Parant

MAURICE PARANT (1935-2003) was an Abstract French artist, painter and photographer in Mid-Century France. His abstractions can be seen across various mediums, and our collection is from a series of notebooks from the estate of the artist. Though there is no signature, the bottom of each work is stamped with the atelier seal. The sketchbooks  date from 1953-1973, this work is presumed from his early 50's marker sketches on paper. And though many have suffered from neglect and time, our rescued lot is in very good condition with few signs of age and bumps/bruises. Please take note you may see a few minor blemishes, but this piece does not have them. This is a gorgeous body of work by a very impressive listed and frequently auctioned artist of the Abstract movement in France.
