This is a gorgeous vintage Mid-Century abstract oil painting from France. Though the artist is unknown, the work clearly demonstrates the Abstract Art movement that took place from 1900-150. In this movement, artists began with a known visible object and abstracted it to produce a more simplified form. Pioneers of the Abstract Art movement include Kandinsky, Malevich and Mondrian.
The colors are exceptionally radiant and the surface is highly textured with the artist’s brush strokes. The figurative elements are stunning and this piece is in wonderful condition and representation of Abstract Art in the Mid 20th Century
This piece is in very good shape with only the natural fading of paper that comes with age. The artwork comes with a gallery style frame and 4" archival, acid free mat and Acrylite Conservation acrylic, filtering out 99% of harmful UV light. Frame style/color selection available upon checkout, with additional mat and frame options available upon request.

All artwork is shipped in 14-21 days depending on the order details. Once orders are placed we will begin your custom mats and/or framing needs.
