 This beautiful antique figure drawing from the late 1800's/early 1900's, features multiple views of a female figure, exuding elegance and sophistication. While the artist remains unknown, the work originates from the North European region. The elegant line quality is reminiscent of early Eugène Delacroix drawings (b. 1798), one of the greatest French Romantic painters. Delacroix was renowned for his expressionist use of line, form, and movement, and his influence on the development of both Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art is well-documented.

This piece, preserved in good condition with only minimal wear and fading typical of its age, captures the essence of Romanticism. This piece comes professionally framed in a classic gallery style moulding Acrylite Conservation Glazing, a UV filtering technology protecting works of art from the harmful effects of indoor and outdoor UV light rays and is half the weight of conventional glass.
