David Lan-bar (b.1912) is a Russian born Polish artist currently listed, exhibited and collected internationally. Lan-Bar's work is frequently realized in auctions globally. and known for his Abstract Expressionistism works in form and color. The Abstract Expressionist movement was initially based in New York City and were often referred to as The New York School. They were influenced by the ideas of Surrealism and aimed to make abstracted art that also possessed expressive and emotional qualities.

Lan-Bar was affiliated with the Artists Association of Jewish, Eastern European Emigres, known as the Second Ecole de Paris. His work is currently in collections of The Smithsonian American Institute of Art, MOMA in New York and The Art Institute of Chicago. This gorgeous work is in excellent shape with only slight aging of the paper. 

All artwork comes professionally framed in a classic gallery style moulding, with a  4" archival, acid-free mat and Acrylite Conservation Glazing, filtering out 99% of harmful UV light. The frame is available in 4 finishes upon checkout, with additional mat and frame options available upon request.

All artwork is sent via UPS ground unless otherwise requested by the customer. Please note that all shipments are based on dimensions and weight – so please consider prior to purchasing. 

All artwork is shipped in 14-21 days depending on the order details. Once orders are placed we will begin your custom mats and/or framing needs. Shipment timeframes are calculated based on stock availability of mat and frame materials. We do our best to get everything out to as quick as possible! We know purchases are exciting!
