Mid-Century Modern French Abstract and Expressionistic Ink Drawing on Paper, Signed 1955 by David Lan-Bar

David Lan-bar (b.1912) is a Russian born Polish artist currently listed, exhibited and collected internationally. Lan-Bar's work is frequently realized in auctions globally. Known for his abstract/expressionist works in form and color, Lan-Bar was affiliated with the Artists Association of Jewish, Eastern European Emigres, known as the Second Ecole de Paris. His work is currently in collections of The Smithsonian American Institute of Art, MOMA in New York and The Art Institute of Chicago. This gorgeous work is in excellent shape with only slight aging of the paper.
